Prime Minister instructs to ensure enhanced mode of work of monitoring groups

At the government session chaired by Prime Minister Askar Mamin, the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country was considered.

First Vice Minister of Healthcare Marat Shoranov reported that the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Kazakhstan continues to improve.

In all regions, there is a decrease in the incidence rate, the number of severe cases and those on inpatient and outpatient treatment. The reproductive index of the virus is 0.93. The workload of infectious beds is 33%, intensive care beds — 27%.

Shymkent, Aktobe, Atyrau, Almaty, West Kazakhstan, Turkistan, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, Mangystau regions are in the green zone in terms of the spread of coronavirus infection, in the yellow zone are the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty, Karaganda and East Kazakhstan region. Kostanay, Pavlodar, Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions remain in the red zone.

To date, over 8.3 million people have been vaccinated with the first component, more than 7.5 million people — with the second component.

Taking into account the difficult sanitary and epidemiological situation in neighboring countries, the Head of Government instructed to ensure compliance with restrictive measures and an enhanced mode of work of monitoring groups in all regions.

Akims of Nur-Sultan, North Kazakhstan, Mangystau, Kostanay, Akmola, West Kazakhstan regions were instructed to increase the rate of vaccination against coronavirus.

Akimats and the Ministry of Healthcare have been instructed to audit and ensure the availability of necessary drugs and medical devices in medical institutions and warehouses.
