Tugzhanov holds meeting on forecasting activities of government agencies

The meeting on strengthening the risk of analysis and forecasting activities of state bodies was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov.

The event was attended by central state bodies and akimats of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent and the regions. Within the framework of the meeting, reports of state bodies were heard on resolving issues of wage arrears, utility tariffs, price regulation for socially significant goods and products, electricity generation, coal supplies, provision of fuel and lubricants, landfills, etc.

“Even a small problem, if it is not solved in time, can cause discontent among the population. Therefore, state bodies must constantly analyze risks and be always ready to solve them,” the Deputy Prime Minister noted.

During the meeting, the Ministry of Education and akimats were instructed to ensure the timely payment of wages to teachers, the Ministry of Agriculture - to develop a clear forecast for the balance of production and consumption to prevent unreasonable increases in prices for socially significant food products.

Tugzhanov noted that the season of preparing children for the school year is ahead, which may also be accompanied by an increase in household expenses. Therefore, it is necessary to use the possibilities of existing market instruments to the maximum to stabilize prices.

As a result of the meeting, the following tasks were set for all state bodies and akimats of the regions:

  • prevent the formation of arrears in the payment of wages;
  • analyze all possible risks on an ongoing basis and develop an algorithm for step-by-step actions to solve problematic issues in the industry;
  • in case of problematic issues, take their solution under special control;
  • strengthen the information and explanatory work of state bodies, actively promote platforms in social networks, and also regularly answer questions from the population.
