At the government session chaired by Prime Minister Askar Mamin, the progress in the implementation of the Employment Roadmap was considered.
Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Serik Shapkenov, Chair of the Board of JSC NMH Baiterek Aidar Arifkhanov, akims of Almaty region Amandyk Batalov, North Kazakhstan region — Kumar Aksakalov, Shymkent — Murat Aytenov presented their reports.
“The implementation of the Employment Roadmap has shown its high efficiency in providing jobs and improving the well-being of the people. On behalf of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, comprehensive measures were taken, including the expansion of the Employment Roadmap program for 2021,” Mamin said.
Prime Minister noted that this year, within the framework of the implementation of the Employment Roadmap, special attention will be paid to the creation of permanent jobs through the implementation of infrastructure projects, the development of entrepreneurship and the agricultural sector.
In the regions, infrastructure projects for 127.5 billion tenge will be implemented, aimed at the construction and repair of roads, medical and educational organizations. Through microfinance organizations with the participation of Atameken NCE and akimats, it is planned to finance business projects in the amount of 22.5 billion tenge. 50 billion tenge will be allocated for the development of entrepreneurship in the regions.
It is planned to send 100 billion tenge through the Baiterek NMH JSC to finance investment projects in the agro-industrial complex.
“In general, 300 billion tenge has been allocated for the implementation of the Employment Roadmap this year, 35.6 thousand jobs will be created, including over 20 thousand permanent jobs,” Mamin said.
The Head of Government instructed to ensure high-quality and timely implementation of all directions of the Employment Roadmap, as well as financing of investment projects.
The Ministry of Agriculture, together with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, as well as other interested government agencies were instructed to develop criteria for assessing the effectiveness of measures to finance agricultural projects.
“The creation of permanent jobs must be kept under special control,” stressed Mamin.
