Astana has hosted today the Youth Forum in support of the “Five Social Initiatives of the President. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Civil Society and the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University.

The event saw participation of Deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhytbek Smagul and Serik Sapiyev, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and Civil Society Abzal Nukenov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University” Aitzhan Abdyrov, representatives of national youth organizations and youth self-government bodies of higher educational institutions.

Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and Civil Society Abzal Nukenov addressed the forum participants with a welcoming speech, and dwelled on the content of the initiatives announced by the President of the country.

“The most urgent and topical issues for young people involve getting education, finding a job and finding a home. The Five social initiatives of the President are a comprehensive response to the three most urgent issues affecting the youth,” – Abzal Nukenov said.

According to A. Nukenov, consideration is being given to attracting young people themselves to participate in the construction of student dormitories, which will help to solve simultaneously the problem of youth employment.

Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament, Olympic champion Serik Sapiyev shared his opinion on the Five Social Initiatives of the President.

According to S. Sapiyev, about 70% of appeals coming from voters concern the housing issue. At the same time, he noted the importance of the current Address of the President of Kazakhstan in solving urgent problems of the society.

“Study for the good of the country, work hard, I think everything will turn out,” - Deputy S. Sapiyev said to youth.

Leaders of youth organizations also spoke at the forum. In particular, the leader of the Alliance of Students of Kazakhstan, Ilyas Tustikbayev, on behalf of students expressed his support for the President's Five Social Initiatives.

The meeting resulted in a number of specific recommendations on the implementation of the Five Social Initiatives of the President of the country.
