Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar participates in republican environmental hour

Roman Sklyar told the students of school-lyceum No. 85 about the harmful factors of environmental impact, gave useful tips on preserving and supporting the environment, and together with the students planted a tree on the territory of the educational institution.

The republican environmental hour is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Fund for the Development of Socially Important Initiatives and the Association of Environmental Organizations. The event is timed to World Habitat Day. This is an international holiday designed to attract the attention of mankind to the problem of maintaining the habitat of the fauna of planet Earth.

During the event, Roman Sklyar spoke to high school students, spoke about the modern realities of the environmental situation in the world and the anthropogenic environmental impact factor. Today, governments around the world are concerned about this problem and are adopting programs for the transition to the rational use of resources, the use of wind, water and solar energy.

Further, the deputy prime minister took part in the presentation of scientific projects in the field of ecology among students in grades 2-7 and emphasized the high level of training and knowledge of children in this field, and also took part in a tree planting ceremony on the school grounds.
