Government considers Plan of Legislative Work for 2021

At a government session chaired by Prime Minister Askar Mamin, the Plan of Legislative Work of the Government for 2021 was considered.

The report was made by the Minister of Justice Marat Beketayev, who said that the Plan provides for the development of 19 bills, which are aimed at the further improvement of the field of exchange trading, combating corruption, the development of land relations, transport, law enforcement and geodesy, cartography, volunteering and charity, biological security, etc.

“Next year we must submit to Parliament two draft laws arising from the Address of the Head of State of Sep. 1, 2020. These are bills on the development of exchange trading and anti-corruption. The 2021 Plan also includes three new draft laws. These are bills on geodesy, biological safety and military police,” Mamin said.

The prime minister instructed the first heads of state bodies to pay special attention to the quality of bills and the timeliness of their submission to the Government and Parliament.
