Prime Minister Askar Mamin holds telephone conversations with heads of government of Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin held telephone conversations with the Chair of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, the Prime Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, the Kyrgyz Republic – Muhammedkaly Abylgaziev and the Republic of Tajikistan – Kokhir Rasulzoda.

The heads of government discussed cooperation in combating the spread of coronavirus and protecting the population from COVID-19, including the issues of returning citizens to their homeland.

Thus, due to the current restrictions on the entry / exit of foreign citizens in Kazakhstan and Russia, the Kazakh Prime Minister Mamin during the conversation with the Chair of the Russian Government Mishustin proposed to create a special mutual regime for Kazakhstanis and Russians returning in transit through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

In negotiations with the prime ministers of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, Kyrgyzstan Muhammedkaly Abylgaziev and Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, topical issues of water-energy cooperation during the growing season, as well as the provision of freight traffic across the state border of the Republic of Kazakhstan under emergency conditions, were discussed.
