On the instructions from the Head of State, the Prime Minister Askar Mamin arrived to Turkestan region for a working visit to familiarize himself with the construction of the city of Turkestan.

In Turkestan the Prime Minister will hold a meeting on the city’s development prospects. Regional akims will take part in it in a selector mode. They will report on the current status and work being carried out on the construction of the facilities in the regional center. In addition, the progress of development of the administrative and business center of the city, residential areas and social facilities will be inspected.

The same day Mamin will make a working visit to Shymkent, where he will inspect the industrial and social infrastructure facilities in the old districts and the districts under construction. Following the detour to the outskirts of the city, the Prime Minister will hold a meeting on the prospects for the further development of the metropolis and the implementation of the Comprehensive Development Plan until 2023.
