The President heard a report on the current socio-economic situation and plans to ensure growth of the country's economy.

Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov reported to the Head of State on measures taken to strengthen support for domestic commodity producers. In order to increase the share of Kazakhstani content, work has begun to improve procurement procedures of state bodies, subsoil users and quasi-state sector.

Special attention on the instructions of the President is paid to the advanced development of promising industries.

In addition, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was briefed on the activities of the Commission on the return of illegally acquired assets to the state.

Following the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of instructions on further socio-economic development of the country.
