In the course of the ecological clean-up organized within the framework of the Republican environmental action “Bіrge – Taza Qazaqstan,” the banks of the Esil and Karasu rivers, the Vyacheslav reservoir and Lake Maybalyk have been cleaned.

The event was attended by more than 5 thousand people.

Among them are members of the Government of Kazakhstan, employees of the capital akimat, representatives of state and public organizations, students, volunteers.

The participants of the environmental action cleared the banks of the Esil and Karasu rivers along the bypass from the airport towards the Karaganda highway, Lake Maybalyk, the coastal territory of the Vyacheslav reservoir, collecting about 16 tons of garbage.

Recall, the Prime Minister Askar Mamin launched the environmental action “Bіrge – Taza Qazaqstan” July 20, 2019, on the Koyandy reservoir. More than 1,200 people took part in the action. Over 10 tons of garbage was collected.
