Askar Mamin introduces new minister of education and science of Kazakhstan

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin presented the new minister, Askhat Aimagambetov, to the staff of the Ministry of Education and Science.

By the decree of the president of Kazakhstan, Kulyash Shamshidinova was dismissed as minister of education and science in connection with her transfer to another job.

Askar Mamin thanked Kulyash Shamshidinova for fruitful work and wished him success in the new place.

“Kulyash Nogatayevna is a leader with great experience. She worked intensively as a minister and made a significant contribution to the development of the education sector in our country,” said the prime minister.

Mamin presented the new minister to the staff of the Ministry of Education and Science. He noted that Askhat Aimagambetov has relevant knowledge and extensive experience in the field of education. In various years Aimagambetov served as head of the Department of Education of the Karaganda region, vice minister of education and science, worked as deputy akim of the Karaganda region.

The prime minister noted that the Ministry of Education and Science faces great challenges. These are the modernization of pre-school, secondary, vocational and higher education, the training of demanded modern specialists, the development of a quality education and science system.
