October 18 in Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev continued the cycle of conference meetings on the current status of work within the framework of the project management of the Third Modernization of Kazakhstan.
 

At the meeting, preliminary reports for nine months and plans for the work of akimats of Almaty, Atyrau, Karaganda and Kyzylorda regions by the end of 2018 were discussed. 

Akims of the regions A. Batalov, N. Nogayev, Y. Koshanov and K. Kusherbaev in the selector mode made presentations on the analysis of the achievement of target indicators in the areas of basic industrialization, development of the agro-industrial complex, fuel and energy complex, transport and logistics, trade, health, education, tourism, digitalization of branches of economy and development of ICT industry, mass entrepreneurship and productive employment. 

The Deputy Prime Minister E. Dossaev, the Minister of Education and Science Y. Sagadiyev, the first vice-ministers of the national economy R. Dalenov, energy — M. Dosmukhambetov, as well as the vice ministers of healthcare L. Aktayeva, national economy — B. Beisengaliyev, labor and social protection of the population — N. Mukushev, investments and development — T. Toktabayev also made comments in the course of the discussion.
