October 17 in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the current status of work within the project management of the Third Modernization of Kazakhstan in the video conferencing mode.

At the meeting, preliminary reports for nine months and plans for the work of Akimats of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, and also East Kazakhstan and Mangystau regions by the end of the year were discussed.

Analyzes of the achievement of target indicators in the areas of basic industrialization, development of the agro-industrial sector, transport and logistics, trade, health, education, tourism, digitalization of the economy and the development of the ICT industry, mass entrepreneurship and productive employment were presented.

In the videoconferencing mode the reports of akims were heard: Astana — Bakhyt Sultanov, Almaty — Bauyrzhan Baybek, Shymkent — Gabidolla Abrakhimov, East Kazakhstan region — Daniyal Akhmetov and Mangystau region — Yeraly Tugzhanov.

The Deputy Prime Minister Erbolat Dossaev, the ministers of national economy Timur Suleimenov, healthcare — Yelzhan Birtanov, labor and social protection of the population — Madina Abylkassymova, education and science Yerlan Sagadiyev, vice ministers of culture and sports Yerlan Kozhagapanov, information and communications — Dinara Shcheglova also made comments during the meeting.
