The economy of Kazakhstan can save about 30 billion tenge as a result of the implementation of 150 investment projects of Kazakh Invest company. This was said by Deputy Chairman of Kazakh Invest NC Nursultan Dzhienbayev during a briefing in the press center of the Government of Kazakhstan.

According to him, to date, there are 150 projects for a total of $30 billion in the general database of investment projects. Also, 48 new projects worth $5 billion are currently under active development.

Priority branches for investment have been determined - machinery, AIC, chemistry, oil chemistry, trade. Nursultan Dzhienbayev noted that there is a number of investment programs. One of them is the program on investment and industrial development jointly with the PRC. It includes 51 projects for a total of $28 billion.

Among the major projects under implementation, N. Dzhienbayev highlighted the construction of chemical and metallurgical plants in Pavlodar and Zhambyl regions, the construction of a factory for the production of cooked and semi-finished products in Almaty region, the production of technical gases on the basis of Arcelor-Mittal Temirtau JSC in Karaganda region, outsourcing of the production of technical gases (hydrogen, nitrogen) at the KMG RM oil refinery (Atyrau Refinery, POCR) in Pavlodar and Atyrau regions.
