Bakytzhan Sagintayev speaks at the Kazakhstan-Belarus Business Forum

Today in Astana Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev took part in the meeting of the Kazakhstan-Belarus Business Forum.

Within the framework of the forum, the issues of improving the investment climate were considered. During the speech, Bakytzhan Sagintayev spoke about the work of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on reducing administrative barriers to business, on the work of special economic and industrial zones and the established companies Kazakh Invest and Kazakh Export, as well as on a number of state programs aimed at business development.

During the forum, the main directions for expanding trade and economic cooperation were also voiced, including increased trade, investment cooperation and the development of transport and logistics infrastructure.

In order to improve the business climate, the Astana International Financial Center will start functioning in Astana in 2018. At the same time, on the basis of one of the EXPO-2017 facilities, the International Technopark of IT Startups will be opened.

The event was also addressed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov, the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich.

At the forum site, Bakytzhan Sagintayev and Andrei Kobyakov jointly visited the exhibition "Made in Belarus", where the products of Belarusian manufacturers in the field of engineering, petrochemistry, transport, agriculture, light industry, medicine and pharmaceuticals, IT, as well as food products, construction materials were presented.
