As part of the increase of labor mobility 59 000 families from the southern regions to be able to move to the northern regions of the country until 2022

The Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Birzhan Nurymbetov, during a briefing in the press center of the Government, spoke about measures to increase labor mobility of citizens under the Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship.

He noted that in 2017 710 million tenge were allocated for the direction "labor mobility" in the framework of the Program of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship. This money covers the resettlement of 288 families, because there is currently a quota for internal relocation. This amount includes material assistance for relocation and subsidies for reimbursement of housing rent for 12 months, which for each family is from 34 to 68 thousand tenge, depending on the settlement and the number of family members.

"We analyzed and found out that today the demographic situation in the northern regions is developing in such a way that in the next five years the number of economically active population in them will decrease by 167 thousand people. Therefore, we must support the initiative of people who want to move to the northern regions. Today we offer additional tools to those subsidies that are already provided for and are working on financing issues," the Vice Minister said.

He stressed that if the prepared proposals are supported, from 2018 to 2022 about 59 thousand families from the southern regions will receive help in moving.
