The main events of the week from 17 to 22 July, 2017

This week, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, B. Sagintayev, on behalf of the Head of State N. Nazarbayev paid a working visit to the North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions.

On Tuesday, July 18, the Prime Minister B. Sagintayev chaired a regular meeting of the Government on the results of the socio-economic development of the country and the execution of the republican budget for 6 months of 2017, as well as the implementation of the housing construction program "Nurly Zher" for the first half of this year. At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Ministries for Investment and Development, National Economy, Finance answered live questions on all issues of interest to the media.

On Wednesday, July 19, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a series of meetings with the State Minister for Trade and Investment of Great Britain Greg Hands, a group of experts from the World Bank led by the Head of the Global Direction for Investment Policy Roberto Echandi.

On July 20-21, Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions, where he got acquainted with the implementation of the objectives of the Address "Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness", the program article "Looking to the Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness".

On Saturday Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Hiroshige Seko, and also held a meeting on issues of the digital economy.
