Kazakhstanis can use the mobile application to complain about unethical behavior of a civil servant

This was announced today by the Deputy Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Affairs Aigul Shaimova at the press center of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the press conference on the implementation of the first direction "Formation of a professional state apparatus" of the Nation’s Plan "100 concrete steps".

Mobile application for smartphones "Ethics in the Civil Service" has been in operation since autumn of 2016. To date, about 50 thousand downloads of mobile applications have been registered.

The application contains articles, links to information resources, as well as testing regarding the ethics of the civil servant of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, the application has an interactive game that helps to study the norms of the Code of Ethics and, accordingly, to strive for its observance. In addition to studying the norms of the Ethical Code, the application allows any citizen of Kazakhstan to apply directly to the Agency with a complaint about unethical behavior of a civil servant.

"As we receive complaints, we react by going to the check. We check the existence of this fact. If it is confirmed, appropriate measures are taken to those who violated ethical norms," Aigul Shaimova specified.
