Vice ministers of labor and social protection of the population appointed

By the Decree of the Government, Yerzhan Zhilkibayev was appointed first vice minister of labor and social protection of the population, Akmadi Sarbasov was appointed vice minister of labor and social protection of the population, the prime minister’s press service reports.

Yerzhan Zhilkibayev was born in 1982 in the town of Lenger, Tolebi district, South Kazakhstan region. He graduated from the South Kazakhstan University, the Academy of Public Administration under the President, the Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University.

He began his career as a chief specialist of the Department of Economics of the South Kazakhstan region. Over the years, he worked in the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning, the Office of the East Kazakhstan region, Presidential Administration. From May 2016 to March 2019, he served as akim of the Medeu district of Almaty. From March 26 he has been vice minister of labor and social protection of the population.

Akmadi Sarbasov was born in October 1977 in the West Kazakhstan region. He graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Eurasian Humanities University.

He began his career in 1994. Over the years, he worked in the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. From 2017 he has been chairman of the Committee for Labor, Social Protection and Migration of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population – chief state labor inspector of Kazakhstan.
