Baubek Oralmagambetov appointed chairman of Aerospace Committee

By the order of the Minister of Digital Development, Defense and Aerospace Industry, Baubek Oralmagambetov was appointed chairman of the Aerospace Committee. Yerkin Shaimagambetov, who previously occupied the post, was relieved according to the submitted application. This was reported by the Press Service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

Oralmagambetov was born in 1983 in the Aktobe region. He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute.

He began his career in 2006 as a design engineer at the Khrunichev State Space Research and Production Center.

In 2010–2012, he worked in the representative office of the Joint Kazakhstan-Russian Enterprise Baiterek JSC as chief specialist, department head.

In 2012–2014 he was deputy director, director of the Space Activity Development Department of the National Space Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2014–2015, he was head of the Projects Support Office of the Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development.

In 2015–2016, he was general director of Kalam LLP.

In 2016–2017, he served as chairman of the Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan.

Since May 2017, he has served as deputy chairman of the Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
