R. Zhoshybaev appointed head of International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects NJSC

By the Decree of the Government, Rapil Zhoshybaev was appointed to the position of the head of the International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects NJSC.

Rapil Zhoshybaev was born in 1963 in Akyr-Tobe station of Lugovsky district, Zhambyl region. In 1985, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State University. By specialty he is an economist.

He began his labor activity in 1980.

In 1980-1993, he worked as a technician, economist, senior engineer, trainee researcher, trainee-teacher at the St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance (RF).

From 1993 to 2003, he was the third, second, first secretary in the MFA RK, the head of the office at the CIS Department of the MFA RK, the adviser to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Lithuania, the deputy chief of the Protocol of the President of Kazakhstan.

In 2003-2004, he was the head of the Department for Interfaith Relations of the Administration of the President of Kazakhstan, chief inspector of the Protocol of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2004-2007, he held the post of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2007 to 2017 — Executive Secretary, First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Commissioner of the Expo-2017 International Specialized Exhibition.

He was awarded the Orders of Parassat, Dostyk of the II degree.

 

For reference: Created on behalf of the Head of State, the International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects will function on the basis of the Expo-UN International Center. The new center will become an ideological continuation of the heritage of the Astana Expo-2017 exhibition, and also aims at establishing strategic partnership relations between the world community in the development of green economy. Along with this, it will help attract investment in Kazakhstani projects.
